And 2 tablespoons of oil, a little bit?? Think I'll stick with my current one, doesn't use any oil, and makes a slight mess as the popcorn shoots out into the bowl, but perhaps I just need a bigger bowl. All about lateral thinking.

I like the design and the use of the top, but you could get a cheaper machine that doesnt require oil.

There are so many popcorn machines that work with hot air instead of oil. You could save lots of caloies by using a hot air popcorn poppper.
