Not at all, I hope people who heard him live will write about it and share their memories. I heard him once as Benvenuto Cellini. He was vivacious and handsome, a good actor with an attractive lyric voice and ideally cast.

Though like some, I prefer Wunderlich, Gedda is certainly a very close. His light voice is just right for the aria.

Nicolai Gedda was truly one of the finest artists of the 20th century! The Italian repertiore may not have been his strongest suit, although I think he was fine in that too, but he was outstanding in everything else!!! Bravo to a great artist!
