there are giant schools of them in the water right behind my house in Mill Basin Brooklyn. I catch em right off the dock!

the hudson river stripers have high mercury contents right? dont they have a certain slot that you are allowed to keep based on these levels?

@Bbfishman these are migratory fish so I'd assume that they'd have the same mercury levels as the fish that you catch from the Montauk surf or southern Rhode Island. Sadly there are no slot limits.
