My puestion to you: Do you think that it is right that people who have millions of dollars should pay the same as those who have twenty thousand dollars. If so what would that be, the tax rate of the richer better off person, or the less rich less better off person in socitety. The amount of money and assets that you have should represent the amount of taxes you should pay. What do you think Dan?

It's not regressive to think people should pay equal percentages in terms of taxes across the board. Also, both major political parties are responsible for problems we have, including the deficit in the budget. You can't be one-sided about things honestly.

Well, quite. There is no more conservative institution than marriage.

I hope you are not seriously endorsing the idea that everyone should pay equal taxes, irrespective of income, though. That's a pretty radical right-wing idea rejected by sensible conservatives (you remember them, you used to have them in the US too).
