I remember seeing this in a documentary somewhere......Before the marines/soldiers assaulted the city, they made sure civilians got out, which gave the insurgents time to dig in and bunker down. The insurgents were all high on PCP and other drugs of the sort, allowing them to sustain multiple gunshot wounds and keep going until bleeding out. I wish I could remember the name of that documentary.... it really illustrated what these troops had to endure.

@504Resident Thats what the 2 week training is for. On their first day of training, these people are already quitting and while these other people are making it through the training, they soon find out what war really is.
