Fish off of Barview Jetty Oregon Coast

Watch as I pan the barview jetty on the most Western part of the jetty. I pan 360 and zoom in on fishing activities on the jetty and beach areas. I also zoom in on Garibaldi coast guard location which can be easily seen from my vantage point. The sounds and sites on the jetty, beach and bay are spectacular with high overcast, fog and sucker holes in the ski. This made for a cool balmy day. In my book it was a perfect day on the jetty. Those that have experienced jetty fishing, or even walking jettys understand nature can be very fierce from these advantage points on the coast. This was not the case this day. Enjoy the beauty and relaxing sounds of the jetty water splashing all around.

@zczaldy Think we were using squid on jiggers. We did catch a couple of sea bass, 2 pounders

@lopessts Weight has to be under the hook(s) so if it gets caught it can slide off. But yea I agree using pencil lead is the only way to go ;)

I go to Westport WA, and use Buzz bombs for Ling cod. Never fails. Most of them are under keeper size but it still a blast. good video

hahahaha you guys are doing it all wrong, all you need is a trout pole and 2ot hook, and pencil lead, try that next time, cut a inch and a half of the pencil lead run up your line pinch the lead 12in up tie a simple clinch knot for your hook , put on your sand shrimp cast out 20 yrds and let the current bring it in.

Throw a #4 Blue/Pearl Buzz Bomb at High Slack and You might just Catch a Silver. I caught three in a week when the Silvers were running into the Bay.

did you guys use any shrimp or frozen fish??
