This video lesson will cover further analysis of the Dorian Mode. The focus of this video will be upon the modal harmony of Dorian and how a drone pitch in the bass can create a strong backdrop for the Dorian sound. Learn the various chords from the video and make a study of the chord names as well as other voicings. Do your best to create your own chord progression off of the 2nd step of any major key, for that "Dorian Sound." When improvising, do your best to play into the unique Major 6th tone of the Dorian scale.
