  • man it's awesome!!!!Bravo!

I have a question about the instrument.I saw all of your videos and u r playing with squier. Now u have real fender. What's the difference?Feeling?Playability?Sound?Woods?Weight?

I have a squier and i want to mod it with pickups, active eq,bringe etc....It's worthless?

  • @triggams Hey mate. Thanks.

Yeah it's not a fender, it's a Mailloux 70s Jazz Bass. Australian made. Check out maillouxbasses if you want to see more of them.

For me it's more of the better version of the squier, 10x better than the squier that I had. Lighter, punchier sound, can go from vintage to very modern sound. If the upgrades and the bass itself ended up costing alot, might be better off buying a 75RI MIJ Jazz Bass or Fender marcus miller.

  • @terrykumar i'm think of a dimarzio ultra jazz or bartolini pickups. An active eq from seymour duncan or GLOCKENKLANG or Bartolini again. The next move for eyes candy only is the bridge and tuners.I think it's work fine for me now.I have a complete cost about 300-400 euros. With this money i can't reach new instrument.I can a used if i sell the squier with about 600 euros but with those money again it will have bad electronics and pickups.......I'm confused

  • @triggams hey sorry for the late reply. I think it's better off for you to save up abit more. The Squier is not bad, but I'm talking about the whole construction of the bass. You can never go wrong with a japanese fender though. I'm into changing parts and for me the bass has to be decent,at least. So if you don't like a thing about the bass, there's no point investing money in it.

  • TASTY riff... awseome job!

  • Who the hell dislikes this? And why??

  • you get better all the time - very solid

  • Very groovie! You were born to play a jazz bass :P

  • @triggams That's not a fender, it's a custom made bass, I also own a squier (vintage modified jazz) I just replaced the bridge and pickguard screws (just for looks)
