@photoshopmama Sorry if this has already been asked but, how would I do the opposite of this? As in, make the text invisible, with an image around it? Say my background was a photo, and I had a box under the text, and I wanted to cut the text out to show the image under the box? If you understand what I'm trying to explain...

@taiyel The image was shot on a white background, see above comment for creating separate layer

you should never stretch text...hold shift to keep proportions...

@mcdowellbrent Never say Never. If it's "body" text, I agree. But for artistic purposes Horizontally or Vertically scaling text can be effective and add to the genre of the piece.
