You have the wet side upside down in your tank. It's not supposed to actually create a vortex in the tank. If you look at the wet side assembly a portion of it is blocked off without vent slits the correct orientation for that portion is up. other than that nice tank.

Are you sure that's the MP40? So you have somewhere between 1000gph to 3200gph flow in a 34 gal tank? That's crazy lol!

even if he's got the MP40 and it seems like it works for his tank and all his corals are ok then it's all good. Tank looks nice too.
