A Georgia mother was taken into police custody after local authorities learned that she allowed her 10-year-old son to get a permanent tattoo. Police say it's illegal for anyone younger than 18 to get inked, even with their parent's consent. (Jan. 19)

@TheLastSocialPariah I would have to agree with you, I would never let my child get a tatoo, but come on it's not like she's giving him dope! And the cops need to go after the drug dealers, come on. This mom made a mistake, but should have never been arrested!

@hapbeyguano Yes, in the shows like Toddlers and Tiaras we get to see actual abuse. If you hear this story, I don't see how you can object. If it was one of my kids (God forbid because I certainly don't hope to losing the other that young) I don't think I would object - I would probably find out what country to go to to keep out of trouble with the law, though.
And I would have persuaded the kid to get a tiny design to represent their brother, not a big one?
