  • I am Ripper... Tearer... Slasher... Gouger. I am the Teeth in the Darkness, the Talons in the Night. Mine is Strength... and Lust... and Power! I AM BEOWULF!

  • No man, not be so tragical. It's a reinterpretation of the original, ancient ante-christian poem of Beowulf.

I think is an excellent film : the plot is really interesting, historical reconstruction, perfect.

Sure it's the best film on beowulf poem ever made.

  • The good Clash of the Titans from 1981 I mean.

Has anyone noticed how short mythology movies are getting lately?

  • This is a good movie. I just wish it was longer and had an R rating.

If you watch this next to Clash of the Titans their very similar.

I wish this was as long as Lord of the Rings. Like the director's cut of Troy or something.

  • Techno Viking

  • Awesome movie, this and Avatar prove Motion Capture was improved in animation. This movie is like a cross between Heavy Metal, Princess Mononoke and Fire and Ice showing fantasy animation isn't just for kids.

  • why have they made it a cartoon? anybody know?

  • @CleopatraPsyco ok shits all over it then!

  • @eon14873 nothing will EVER be able to piss over lord of the rings

  • i cant believe i saw this film for the first time last night. sheer brilliance. epic from start to end. pisses all over lord of the rings from a great height! no stupid little homo hobbits! i hate them

  • You know Denmark only have one moutain, and it's no more than a little over a 100 meters high. In this film there are mountains and cliffs everywhere. Pluss there's a in the scene with the burning bridge, well there wasn't any bridges like that before the renaissance. That's like 700 years later. Plus there was no christianity in Denmark whatsoever before the year 800. When the movie takes place, aprox. year 500, it had hardy even stated to grow in it's counrty of origin, Rome (Italy today).
