@darrouken me too in a way, but sonic 1 & 2 had more technically challenging tunes. Sonic 3 & Knuckles had more pop-ish tunes but at the same time extremely catchy. It may have had something to do with Michael Jackson's speculated involvement

@ParanormalChloee i think its not the music but that we were kids when listing to this and was more emotionaly vulnerable. just a thought i had on why im so attached to sonic songs lol. sonic 1 up to sonic adventure ill never forget.  and now i must sing lol (i wanna fly high soo i can reach the highest the bottom of heaven sombody will be)
