  • 2000$ for a gimbal that costs maybe a 200$ to manufacture ? You do leave yourself a wide profit margin. Hopefully you'll attract those willing to pay as much...

  • @donwanna

These are custom, low quantity items. Cost about $1,000 just for cutting the parts in a machine shop and plus servos and bearings and labor to put together. Margin isn’t as high as you think. If they are $200 a piece, I would like to order 100 of them from you please. The servos, we use were $150 each and there were 3 of them. Since, we have changed to a similar spec servo that cost less and works even better.

  • did you build this by yourself? or was it orderd can i have a link please?

  • @benjy94benjy

  • Impressive. I like how you used one of the biggest and heaviest camera/lens combos to demonstrate the power of the servos where many other rigs can only hold compact cameras.

  • Nice setup!

  • @jascamera2002 My proposition is simple, open source the drawings and the specifications of your designs on your site. Make them available to general public and let the community determine the range of costs at which those design will sell. Expand exposure to yourself and promote your photography business. Gain recognition from the community for your designs, and have general gratitude from the public.

  • @jascamera2002 Put the cost of the 'ready to fly' package online already.. no one wants to contact someone for a price!! that's just a pain in the ass

  • Should have smaller version for aiplanes and made for GoPro.

  • isn't this just a motorized gimbal?
