Expressing such gratitude to Vesuvius for inviting me to perform with their Tribe at WaterFire 2009. Though the incline was difficult to hoop on and the music was beautiful but not my typical hooping music (ha), the setting was breath-taking and the flow of Dharma carried through each performer as well as the audience as we were all connected in Bliss! Vesuvius entertained the crowd throughout the evening with poi, staff, fans, fire hoop, fire breathing, snakes and more before uniting for the finale on the Pedestrian Bridge, accompanied by the sound of the KC Drum Tribe. Quixotic Fusion also had three amazing performances! WaterFire was held on Brush Creek on the Plaza in downtown Kansas City, created by Barnaby Evans. This clip was filmed by my friend, Lara Bee.
Great job lady! Sad I missed it, but glad you got it on video~

Thanks, ziggy! KC was so beautiful in that setting! At my station, we rotated hoop, poi, snakes, staff and fire breathing for about 2 hours and had a grand finale on the bridge with all 9 of us and the KC Drum Tribe. I still get chills thinking about it! What a daydream!! <3
