In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month the Madison Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure will host it's Second Annual Women Rock for the Cure event. The capitol will once again turn pink and several area venues will help create awareness by participating in this exciting and unique fundraising event.   • Breast cancer rates are highest in countries with the highest induced abortion rates. Breast cancer was infrequent before Roe vs Wade legalized abortion nationwide. Currently, there are about 1.2 million abortions in the U.S per year. By age 45, 42% of American women have had an abortion. Since Roe vs Wade in 1973, breast cancer rates in the U.S. have increased about 40%. Induced abortion cause biological changes to occur in breasts which make women more susceptible to breast cancer.

  • This is just a reminder to all my FB friends and their friends...Please remember to check yourself or to get your mamograms done. We need to keep on top of this. We need to find a cure. It can hit anoyone of us. I am doing the walk for cure on June 5th in Madison. I will be needing some sponsers. Please help for this great cause, it may help your loved one someday. Thanks Terri. :)
