commands:
$su (now you are ready to use these commands)
#netcfg (you get a list with all the connections, look for eth0 or wlan0)
#dhcpcd eth0 (eth0 or wlan0, depends on what you see in the list^)

@filipkof i hv 2 connections sying UP......lo and wlan0....i hv tried both of them as well as eth0......everytime permission denied.....plz suggest sumthing

Hi ...i have done everthing u have suggested. Everything works till i reach dhcpcd eth0. When I write dcpcd eth0 and press Enter nothing comes under it. I am using Galaxy Tab 7" with Gingerbread. please reply asap.

Respond to this video... try to kill the dhcpcd first... " killall dhcpcd " if it still fails, try different devices..

hey...but im gettng wlan0 ...and dat last cmmand "dhcpcd wlan0" does nt giv any result

@samvar7 try to search for different devices... i ve got wlan0 but it seems there's eth0 emulated, so i don't know...try everything that looks suspicious under /dev
