I just happened to catch the USA vs Brasil Womens cup today ( they smashed USA btw ) but man that was the first time I've seen this girl She is phenomenal and only 21. I'm in love with her. She is sick

I've linked the video in the description box for this page along with some other stuff. Nothing but positives, I'm sure (not fluent in Svenska. I only know a handful of words). She was the darling of the Swedish sports press for a while. She even won the "Popular Vote" for Best Goal in the 2005 or '06 Fotbollsgalan or Football Gala, the equivalent of the ESPY Awards, except dedicated entirely to football.

Marta plays for Umea IK, the top team in the Swedish Premiere Football League, Dammallsvenskan. I think she's played with them for about three seasons now.
