York Doctoral Symposium's logo is printed in 3D using a MakerBot printer. Time with the printer was generously supplied by the CoSMoS research project and with the help of the hardware support staff in the Department of Computer Science, University of York.
The York Doctoral Symposium is aimed at PhD and Masters level students in Computer Science and related disciplines, who wish to one day work on the cutting edge of technology and computer science research.
The main body of this video is at 20x speed, the logo took about 40 minutes to construct from start to finish.
