@BernieLJ77 They are called hit &miss engines and I find them fascinating too. My dad sells his wood working at this market has for 6 years. I would always
get a venders pass wich would get you in for free all 3 days .

Yes, this was on Friday, years ago they didn't have the flea market, which was huge this year, but I haven't gone to that in a number of years, they even had a different entrance to the site since I was last there, plus they had a different saw mill this year than in earlier years, as the saw mill that they had this year the guys stood beside the saw mill, but the other earlier saw mill had the guy "riding" the saw mill back and forth, moving with the log being sawed.

I missed the one guy though, right when I was leaving, I wished that I still had the camcorder going, as he made his 90 degree turn with his zero radius tractor, then he was going to go backwards, and he then stood up, lifted the seat, spun the seat around and then sat down. That was very interesting the way he did that, but I didn't catch it on the camcorder. I did catch the tractor he was driving on the camcorder, but not when he did that "seat trick."

I'm afraid that I wasn't around to see the parades on Saturday or Sunday. I used to be fascinated by the engines where the engines fire once, then spin several times before firing again, just think what kind of gas mileage we'd get if cars did that, but maybe the power would be limited, if car engines only fired once every 8 revolutions or whatever....hee hee hee...Have a Great Day...By the way, I won a free pass to the steam engine show from the Medford radio station WKEB.
