Oh my God, I love this! I mean, of course, Sherlock is brlliant and reckless and energetic, but I think he is only very lonely and a kind of broken man. (I think Benedict Cumberbatched said something like 'atractively broken') And I think that some moments like when Molly storms out of the room and he honestly doesn't understand what he has done wrong, show that he hasn't got any emotions; he has only seperated himself from them. I think in some way that makes him a very tragic character.

It's so strange but the way Moriarty acts, it's like he's breaking Sherlock's fourth wall. This is the Great Game at its finest. That smile and look seems to say, "Don't you see how sad and lonely you are, how sad I (the devil) am, I am you - just take heart and do this. Yeah yeah, I'll burn your heart, yadda yadda".
