Bibi's First Birdday

Wonderful talker. Do you have any training tips? Ours is beautiful, just turned 1, but she doesn't really 'say' anything legible. She's close, but tips might help. :)

We allow Bibi to stay out of her cage most of the day because we are here to watch her. Also we talk to her a lot, exhaustively repeating the phrases we want her to learn. And when she talks we try to figure out what it sounds like and then we repeat it back to her. For instance, yesterday she was saying "eeeee row." We figured out that she was trying to say "years old" so we praised her and said, "Yes! Bibi is only 2 years old." Eventually she nailed it.

Thanks. She can say a few other words that didn't make it on camera, but she is still very young. She should speak more clearly as she gets older. She's also working on her colors. She can usually "touch red" for a treat.
