For Bike To Work Day I deviated and expanded my morning commute an additional 11 miles to include all six pitstops in and near downtown Los Angeles before heading in to work.
UPDATE (9.27.11): It was just pointed out to me that the gentleman with whom I converse at the first pitstop in Glassell Park from about 0:58 to about 2:04 is Alan Deane, who was killed in a collision with a car while riding his bike in Pasadena on his 61st birthday, September 22. Rest in peace, Alan.
