And so say all of us. Truly Truly the greatest.She most certainly has left her marque throughout the operatic world.The sheer joy she gave to the many is legendary. She is now enjoying her retirement, living with her husband Richard in Austrailia.She was perfection.

This is overall my favorite role of hers. Her somewhat awkward stage presence and big figure don't matter as much in this role because it's tomboyish anyway. Her voice also had a somewhat playful texture to it, which works very well here. Combine that with her virtuoso coloratura, and you have quite a performance here.
