  • nothing records! i am such an ableton noob but i followed your instructions exactly but when i click record simply nothing records... please help.

  • @pizzaisfuntoeat Do you have your audio inputs setup correctly in Prefs?

  • hi for some reason I can't arm the operator and the audio at the same time. any ideas as to why??

  • @nathansm11 Yes, I forgot to mention I have some custom preferences in Live. Go to Live > Preferences. Click on the Record/Warp section. Make sure Arm is turned OFF for Exclusive. This will allow you to record, play and Arm many tracks at once. Or hold down the Command Key (Ctrl on Windows), this will allow you to Arm more then one track at the same time -Mark

  • great stuff...i've been viewing your tutorials for the past couple of weeks, and they are succinct and quite intuitive...would it be possible for you to cover some tried and true techniques regarding eq'ing as well as song structure within the framework of ableton?

  • @konnichiwabitchez Absolutely, I'm actually posting an EQ video tomorrow about fighting frequencies. I will take your suggestion on the Song structure!
