The Senate Judiciary Committee looked a lot like amateur comedy hour today. Senator Graham gave the set up, Supreme Court nominee Kagan with the punch line, and Senator Schumer came through with a killer close.

As a Christian I am offended by this filth's statement about Christmas, you don't have to celebrate it, don't make a mockery of it, as if Christians are stupid to celebrate so your excluding yourself from it, that's what it sounded like. Could've said, I have many Christian friends I wish them all Merry Christmas, but that is not my faith so I was at home with my family.

@MenechemShaul Messianic Jews are not considered Jews in Israel. Anyone who is legally Jewish but converts to Messianic Judaism is not allowed to make aliyah either. The only way a messianic jew can make aliyah is as a non-jewish child of a jewish man and a non-jewish woman.

That senator purposedly asked Kagin the question in order to point out she was a Jew, & not a right wing conservative "Christian" & as far as I am concerned, he was rude & inconsiderate. Religion has NO place in our government. Seperation of church & state is the best thing about our consitution

Well if anyone was actually paying attention to the beginning of the video, the senator asked her that question to reveal how robotic all Kagan's answers were. They had a preset standard of "Uh mr. senator I don't believe that ________" and how can I avoid directly answering any question so I can either a) hide my inexperience or b)not be critcized for what I truely belive. Graham asking her a simple question was enough to make all that apparent.

@nick1364 Actually, it was the right wing media who killed Harriet Meirs' nomination since they didn't know where she was at any of the hot button social issues that conservatives are fond of. Sean Hannity in particular.
