This was such an amazing show!! simple set, simple costumes, natural acting not overly done like these days, great plot, great scary music....I have to admit that now am 25 and even now I get goosebumps watching this show!!

the actress playing Byomkesh's wife must have surely sucked some dicks to get this role... she is playing a bengali housewife , yet, her accent is strongly Marathi...l..couldn't they have found someone a bit more appropriate for the role ???
Byomkesh(Rajit Kapoor) on the other hand is superb...right from the way he ages from a young man in his 20s to a man in his 60s during the course of the series....to his inflections....Bhadralok personified !!
