Yom kippur war 6th of October 1973 Egypt vs Israel

youm kippur is the holiest day for jews,
in kippur day 1973 Egyptians decided to pay back what happened in june 1967 to set the Egyptian occupied land (Sinai peninsula) from the Israeli army by crossing the Suez canal and destroying Bar-liv defensive line that cost 0.5 billion dollars in that time ,Egypt has built Sam defensive wall to secure and protect the heart of the country from any counter attack which prevented IDF from using its supreme power (IAF)the war started at 2.00 pm on saturday 6th of October 1973.

lol this is a stupid war, They both won , Israel won for destroying the whole egyptian army and for winning the peace treaty and Egypt won cause they had back the Sinai peninsula, but i would say israel definitely won it cause of the peace treaty, after the peace treaty egypt never interfered with other arab israeli wars, w/c was very great for israel, but egypt, yeah they won a large desert nice work egypt!!!

@yakov4545 how lots of tanks was caught wz very few k.m accounters, means it was dropped in sinai some where by some how!! 2nd there was very big ship coming in medetranien,when it nearly arrived Soviet Union sent also a bigger 1 to help us then Both Egypt and Israel said we don't need help, both of ship must not enter as we wanna solve this matter togother.....smart Israel shoot AMERICANS by mistake so if u say didn't help cheak before replying:))))btw Israel without America is nothing,Shalom:)

Arabs are cowards for so many reasons. First of all, why are 4 countries ganging up on 1?

Second of all, they attack on the holiest day of Judaism, the one where the whole day is spent praying at a synagogue, where everybody is fasting.

Of course, arabs got their ass handed to them at the end, but the use of dirty tactics really conveys a message to the world.

That's exactly why they attacked on that day because Israel would have demolished on any other day.
