  • Juskis Earthquakeprediction

  • @killerwill55 and tsunami from earthquake?

  • i could remember this moment...it was on the morning and it made me jumped from my bed...too bad...

  • lol, the first guy i have ever seen that think it's funny with a earth quake :p

  • Hey... is this the big one?

  • Err, the quality of construction does need to be taken into consideration.

And the depth of the source from the earth surface does matter. Shallow earthquake is most likely to trigger the tsunami.

And the most important is the duration of the quake. Massive earthquake takes time more than 1 minute.

And of course the coconut tree fell down due to an earthquake (and even tsunami) is really rare event, unless the land was cracked. Wood and concrete are most likely to be tore down first..

  • Really? A 7.9 and 8.4? A 7.3 destroyed almost all of Haiti, that house would collapse in less than 10 seconds and that boat would probably break apart, not to mention there would be one of the largest tsunamis in the earth's history.

  • i would be running like the flash!!
