  • do you play The HMS VICTORY

  • whats wrong with denmark and sweden but yes i see ur point :P

  • i am portuguese and i defend that my nation shoulb be in the game but it`s true that in this time portugal is not a rich or important nation but the game has a great fail in let portugal out because portugal had a primary responsability in world development!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Thank you but i already haver that game, nice one... But that's not the point, the point is that Portugal had one of the biggest empire in history and they have factions like Denmark and Sweden.

  • excuse me, i quote you "ou should know that Portugal, in 1415 started what you call colonialism empire"

that falls into the medieval 2: total war timeline

    wanna play portugal? buy that

  • No playable I think

  • and what about greece?

  • Well, I hope you see my point. You came here and you said things you shouldn't have said, Portugal had tons of gold from Brazil, so yes it was a rich country and a big empire so the directors of this game can't simply withdraw it. In Medieval II Total War, Portugal was a playable faction.

  • the Republic of the United Provinces completely out-performed all expectations it was a surprise to many that a nation, not based on the church or on a single royal leader, could be so successful. This time period is known in the Netherlands as the Golden Age. The Dutch dominated world trade in the 17th century, conquering a vast colonial empire and operating the largest fleet of merchantmen of all western nations. The County of Holland was the wealthiest and most urbanized region of Europe

  • Well mate, if you knew something about history, I see you don't, you should know that Portugal, in 1415 started what you call colonialism empire, then Spain followed, then the British, French and the United Provinces! And you should also know that Portugal was the first nation to arrive by sea to India! Well, the first global empire belonged to the portuguese, in the Americas (Brazil and Newfoundland ), Africa (western coast ans eastern) and Asia (India, Macau, Japan, East Indies and Timor).
