Mabinogi Pet AI

Mabinogi has a really strong Player Controlled Pet AI system that allows anyone with a bit of technical skill to create your own pet training programs. If you dont feel like creating one yourself, a very tedious activity, you can upload one of mine.

Although my scripts Pet AI Training scripts are far from perfect, I think they are much better than the ones made by the game defaults.

(This isn't really easy so dont do it if you're a noob.)

To install the scripts:
During your game you will need to switch to your desktop with the ALT-Tab key combination and load the web page: http://briefnotion.googlepages.com/animalai
Click a link to one of the AI Scripts.
Press the CTRL-A key combination to select All of it.
Then copy it to the clipboard, either by pressing CTRL-C or with the menu command.
Right click your pet and choose Pet Guidelines.
Click Create a new Pet AI.
Click the Source tab.
Click Paste.
Name the script to whatever the notepad page title or whatever you will help your remember what it was.
Set the script to active and find a few small monsters to test it out.


Pros:
Pet will now throw magic spells much more often than before.
Pets prepare for magic attack when the master prepares for an attack.
Pets are quicker and more fierce fighters.
Two scripts are available, a "Pet Protects His Master" script, and a "Cooperation" script.

Cons:
Pet may tend to use magic too much. Much fighting will deplete its mana quickly not leaving much for healing.
Pet sometimes prepares for skill and drops it to do other things.

@knr817 you should be able to just buy two short swords and weild one in each hand. some swords are two handed and you can only have one.

Pet AI isn't hard to create all you gotta do is be able to read, I created 3 easy. You dont have to go to the pet and right click it you can just press T and do the AI settings from there. You also don't have to right click and click copy you can hold control and press C to copy and hold control and press V to paste. Faster and more simple.

Like patterns in the coding and such.
