It's definitely possible to clear the screen on this planet, it just takes a lot of practice.
After having all the on-screen meteos ready for launch, find a few combo's you can quickly perform, WHILE the stack is rising, if you keep launching in mid-air in rapid succession, you should be able to clear the screen.
You just have to persevere; when the meteos really come raining down by 8 minutes, it's much easier to match blocks and you can make an infinite rocket jump, getting you the max score count- 9,999,999 points. You should hold the speeder down for the first 3 minutes, but after that, you should avoid using the speeder. If you get stuck looking for some blocks to match, try pausing the game; pausing within itself is useful for making quick matches. Also, it will take a while, so have time to spare.
I totally hate this planet!!i hate this one the most out of all of em. and i can't seem to each my goal of getting 200K on every planet because of this planet!! (hevendor too, of course, but it's impossible to make combo's there, so...)
Gigagush is a lot like Hevendor, because launches pretty much ignore meteo count, etc, but IMO it's the better planet for the reasons Patashu gave already; combo potential, at least if you're fast enough.
I prefer Mekks to Gigagush due to the smaller width though, and I also think incinerated meteos take longer to revert to normal.
I got 8th for 100 Meteo War for Gigagush on Meteos Wars last night :3

I love how this planet is a tribute to Space Invaders. ^_^

No, it's not like Hevendor at all. Hevendor's main tactic is using the speeder then stack a ton, then using a super rocket.
