It was nice of him to come out to that Liberal Leadership convention in 2006, but that convention ended up being the biggest waste of time and money until the 2009 convention.

I voted for him in 2004, I am a socialist, and I read the New York Times. However, I don't drink and I don't have a Volvo.

Howard Dean is an outstanding leader; someone who unlike most leaders within the Democratic Party is willing to stand up for his beleifs and take on the Republican machine. It's sad that the American right-wing media managed to bring him down and end his candidacy in '04. He would have made a very good president.

Oh well. With luck, we'll get Edwards in '08.

Well, I know that most liberals are really socialists. I do commend you for at least being open about your beliefs. I wish your friend John Edwards and Hillary would be open about their socialist beliefs. At least then we would have a clear and open debate. I, on the other hand, am an Adam Smith free-enterprise economic thinker.

You believe in the free market... except in regards to the $450 billion-dollar-a-year taxpayer trough that the defense contractors feed at every year. I don't see many conservatives complaining about those "handouts." Ask a solider; they have stories about $75 wrenches and $700 dollar sleeping bags. If single-payer healthcare is "pork," than what is this?

Oh I see. If this nut wants to come to Canada the all-mighty media deems that it is okay. But hey, if a conservative wants to come and speak the all-mighty media does not think it to be a good idea. Maybe next time I am interviewing possible employees I will just forget to mention all the negro applicants, eh?

I see him as a very charismatic man. I undertand, that you might not agree or dislike him, there is no need to insult him or anyone who supported him.
