  • I love seeing stuff like this, I find it fascinating to see how movies develop. I'd love to see footage of Charles Fleischer running around backstage in the Roger Rabbit Costume

  • @VanIntegral Footage of Charles Fleischer in Roger Rabbit costume has appeared in several Making of specials. I think there's some footage in Secrets of Toontown, which is at this channel.

  • This would of been a completely different film. It would be different if Paul did it, but he did really good.

  • The scene with Jessica and Eddie is taken straight from "Who Censored Roger Rabbit?" The book this film is very loosely based on.

  • Is that original Jessica! Who ever she is I get a kick out of her!

  • Did they ever complete it?

  • @SpexGuy1118 It looks like a different film wow. This was cool to see.

  • Wow, I would have actually like this movie

  • Aside for the large nose, Roger's early design reminds me a bit of that rabbit from Trix yogurt.

  • Mike Gabriel was never the best animator, he doesn't do Reuben's voice justice.

You have any idea how much meat is in that voice? You can do great things with a voice like this!

  • @AlanSmithySculptor I could not agree with you more. Even as a child I wanted to strangle Roger.

  • It's Original Roger Rabbit. Well, That's one disney.

  • Whereas Williams designed Roger Rabbit more as a 1940s Disney character, Van Citters designed him in a Tex Avery vein, with really simple construction and a limited color palette. I love the final film, but part of me still wants to see the version that was never made.
