Mokume Gane rings by the Mokume Gane goldsmith

A short compilation of hand made Mokume Gane rings by Royston Upson. Each ring is totally unique due to the material's own characteristics. It is these characteristics that make Mokume Gane one of the hardest metal working techniques recognised internationally. Very few craftsmen specialise in this branch of jewellery/metalsmithing as it takes years and many thousands of hours to perfect which only leaves the most persistent and determined of craftsmen able to make some of the worlds most unique pieces of jewellery.
