I have known students whose working families have been devastated by health problems. When the parents lose their ability to work, the children lose their health care. Some children worried incessantly about sick parents with terrible diseases. Sometimes the child is left to worry alone while the second parent works two jobs to try to make ends meet. This is not a stunt. It is commonsense and compassion. Our country can solve these problems fairly. I know you understand what fair means.

Ah, Susie. Ignore nastiness. Generally, when you make the most sense, it inflames those who don't understand fairness. In my experience, I have found most 10 year olds know fairness is the mark of honorable human beings. Unfortunately, some lose that value as they grow up. Greed changes them, and then they use nastiness to try to drown out their truth that calls out from deep under their greed. It is sad. I hope he listens better to his inner self soon and understands what he used to know.

Dear Susie, Your particular obnoxious presentation is not your fault. It's probably your superficial parents who have convinved you that you are someone SPECIAL. You are not!(Except perhaps to your loved ones.) In fact the comments you make are no difference from what any silly girl you're age might state if they had the time and resouces for the stunt you are pulling.
