Federal Signal Model 2-240 - Noon Whistle (on timer)

First successful test of my newly created noon timer rig, that activates the Model 2 for about 5 seconds everyday at noon. The automatic rig consists of a Rain Bird ESP-LX+ 6-zone sprinkler timer, wired to a pump start relay with a 24V coil, which feeds power to a delay-on relay set for 55 seconds delay, which finally wires in with the test button on the AR timer. The sprinkler timer is set to activate zone #1 for 1 minute everyday at noon, which the delay-on relay delays the run time down to only 5 out of the 60 seconds on. Yup, it was probably no more than 80' away from it this time lol. I'm actually almost surprised that my camera didn't decide to say "f*ck you!" and shut off from overload, like it likes to do sometimes haha

Also the echo isn't really obvious here, of course it can still be heard but it's weird. I'm assuming the camera was closer to the siren causing the mic to adjust.

Yeah these universal motors are kind of funny as to how they get to their full speed, none of them that I've ever seen have a really smooth windup like normal induction motors and all do.

I worded that wrongly. I think it's just part of the windup on these motors, as it slows down it's pickup just before it hits peak. Oh well
