"12345 Let's go for a drive
678910 Let's go there and back again

Something's open it's my heart
If something's missing it's when we're apart
If something's good it's when we're back together again

Nothing's wrong it's just insane
Nothing's right until you're back again
Nothing's broken when it's softly spoken
And we're walking slowly down the lane

Why don't we drive in the rain
Straight to the eye of the hurricane
Go for a ride in the driving rain

12345 Let's go for a drive
678910 Ooh Ooh
12345 Let's go for a drive
678910 Let's go there and back again
Baby baby

You come walking through my door
Like the one that I've been waiting for
Letting sunshine in the darkest places when I've been going there again

So why don't we drive in the rain
Straight to the eye of the hurricane

Why don't we drive in the rain
Straight to the eye of the hurricane
Go for a ride in the driving rain
12345 Let's go for a drive
678910 Ooh Ooh
12345 Let's go for a drive
678910 Let's go there and back again
Baby baby

In the driving rain
Why don't we drive
In the driving rain

12345 Ooh Ooh
678910 Let's go back again
12345 Let's go for a drive
678910 Let's go there and back again

You come walking through my door"

  • I saw Paul McCartney yesterday live, A-W-E-S-O-M-E!

Probably the greatest living musician / performer on Earth.

Anyhow: even I love Sir Paul, MJ was bigger. :-)

  • I love them both! And I wouldn't compare them because they belong to different music genres and because they have different music styles.

In a live show you will never see PM moonwalking and MJ playing the piano, guitar, bass, etc.

Anyway, they admired each other so that they wrote a couple of songs together in the 80's.

  • I LOVE this song, really, i cant stop listening it

  • i have a memory on this song. when i drove my car in a rainy day evening, suddenly the car radio started to sind a cool song. the rain kept on beating on the window and it couldn't let me concentrate on listening to the music. i stoped my car. it took not so much time to make out who sang it. the "Driving Rain" is the last song of my "Car Sroppers", which was made by Paul. just my opinion but this song would become more brilliant in his live performance.

  • Paul is the king of music and MY king! love him sooo much! <3

  • je suis presque rien mais a chaque creation,et une ambiance musicale cette chanson.

  • la parte en que cuenta 12345... es adictiva!, grosso Paul, y el hijo de Laboriel tocando la bata la descose.

  • かっこいいー!!!!

  • I love this tune!!! *_* Happy beat that makes people want to dance.

  • @calvideos why? only for the title?

  • I Think Of This Like A Modern "Drive My Car"
