@trakkaton I agree, if this was an attempt at some sort of satire of actual peak oil evidence, then it was sophomoric and ham-handed at best. If it was a slam on Limbaugh's low-brow show, it is weak and unfunny. I wasted 2:49 of my life with this. No wonder he disabled ratings. If I sucked that bad, i would have too. LOL

@emacrisema Yeah. Global Warming is a much better sham than peak oil. At least with Global Warming I get to drive my prius and feel superior while eating petroleum-based agricultural foods without knowing it in front of a television shipped to me via freighter (oil powered). My Vietnamese pants, Chinese built I-pod and computer really do a lot to reducing hydrocarbon consumption. In fact, I'm so concerned about carbon I don't even breathe.

@emacrisema There is plenty of oil - the problem is if it takes more energy and money to extract than its worth. In the 1900s oil fields were everywhere for cheap oil, now we are in the ocean drilling 15k ft below the surface.
