He is some advise I have for you on preventing a string breakage. I use Ernie Ball 10 gage strings and I would break them a lot until I started doing this... Wrap the strings around the bridge then go over the saddles. Jimmy Page, Billy Gibbons, Joe Bonamassa do this to make their 11 gage strings feel like 10's. I do it because It helps relieve the stress on the strings. Good Luck.
