Mark Webber's attempt to overtake Lewis Hamilton in the chicane following the main straight.

There are a total of 12 frames in this picture-sequence movie clip. This should help scrutinize Hamilton's "unsporting" action against Webber in a sanctioned race.

At the start of the clip, Hamilton can be seen to slow down before the turn-in to the chicane...more quickly than Webber did and as a result, Webber had the speed to make the challenge which brought him side-by-side to Hamilton.

In frame#5 of this frame-sequence, you could argue that it was Webber who turned into Hamilton as he was steering RIGHT. BUT, checking the next frame (frame#6)shows that he (Webber) straightened out BEFORE they touched wheels, as evidenced by the alighnment of his steering wheel and the left-front tyre's distance to the white side line on the left.

Even though Webber straightened out, Hamilton clearly "closed the door on Webber" as can be seen clearly on frame#8. Webber even tried to avoid touching Hamilton by steering LEFT (check his steering wheel input). Still, they touched, indicating that Hamilton was the one who turned into Webber even if they were side-by-side.

Lewis clearly did not give Webber space and even tried to push him out of the track when they are VERY CLEARLY SIDE-BY-SIDE.

A clear violation of the International Sporting Code, Appendix L, Chapter IV, Article 1, Section A, which states:

"During a race, a car alone on the track may use the full width of
the said track. However, as soon as it is caught up on a straight
by a car which is either temporarily or constantly faster, the driver
shall give the other vehicle the right of way by pulling over to one
side in order to allow for passing on the other side."

...and Section C, which states:

"Curves, as well as the approach and exit zones thereof, may be
negotiated by the drivers in any way they wish, within the limits
of the track. Overtaking, according to the circumstances, may be
done either on the right or on the left.
However, manoeuvres liable to hinder other drivers such as
premature changes of direction, more than one change of
direction, deliberate crowding of cars towards the inside or the
outside of the curve or any other abnormal change of direction,
are strictly prohibited and shall be penalised,..."
