  • I heard the CEO of a major company call the refundable deposit a tax and there's at least 17 bottles in the cart. I'm not sure if the Capri drinks have deposits. If so that's more as I didn't count them. So that amount can be deducted as it is NOT a tax but a deposit so the bottle or can doesn't up as waste. Anybody that would buy that much unhealthy junk should pay taxes for their increased medical costs that the rest of us will have to pick up.

  • I try not to drink that much sugary drinks anyways, but Once in a while at work i buy a bottled drink so it might effect me.

  • Look at all the junk in the wagon! Why are we fighting this!

    Fake Cranberry juice?

Lemonade with NO LEMONS!!! Soda with HFCS and phosphoric acid? You wanna shove that down your kid's mouths?

    This is a crazy argument.

  • In Canada we have two taxes on everything. It's 13% on what you buy. It was 15 % last year, now they will be making us pay 23% by the end of July on everything!

  • What a line of bovine fecal matter. Why complain about a few bucks, when you go out and spend outrageous amounts for bottled water, when tap water is just fine?

  • I'm WITH THIS! FIGHT THIS TAX! I'm in Queens, NY!
