  • You have an absolutely beautiful voice. Absolutely beautiful.

  • gorgeous voice

  • Wow! You are really just amazing. I am a singer from Montreal, and you are by far the best "musical theater" male singer I have heard recently. You are so moving and your phrasing is impeccable. Simply: wow!

  • What a voice! Amazing performance. You should be very proud

  • I wanted to add to my earlier comment...you really deserve to have the "play-off" with the delay. I've been to one of the "Phantom" benefits in San Diego, and so I know what it is...I'm sure they weren't equipped with the delay equipment, etc. Still, it was such a wonderful rendition of the song - in this case, I think that "Floyd" deserved to go to "caver's heaven," as represented by the echos. Still, even without, it's magical!

  • What a voice! Oh, please, please play "Floyd" somewhere close to San Diego sometime soon!

  • jason. i began learning about - and singing - this peice because of this performance. i enjoy your subtle honesty and interpretation. very well done, man! we have a similar vocal range and tone. i'd love to see what else you've done! it'd be nice to talk more with you. youtube me! ha chat soon, jason. and thank you.

    micah.

  • After not seeing this performance for a few months, I gotta tell you that I'm a few Kleenex away from making this a really good day. You absolutely nailed this song. You tapped into Guettel's genuis as well as that can occur. Bravo, Jason!

  • I also don't know why some random person on YouTube is trying to critique a professional lol. (a.k.a. I agree with you Mallory)

  • I am so so so impressed. Brilliant job. I just discovered this musical. Guettel writes beautiful music.
