Then watch Part 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X03zqvzkACc&feature=channel_video_title
Then watch the FAQ: 'Fursuit Eye FAQ and extra' video of any additional questions (ie "Can you see through the resin"). I'm getting tired of answering the same question over and over because people are too lazy to search a tiny bit harder for the answer, or even just scroll down to see it's already been answered...
Here, I'll even link it for you, you lazy bastards!

  • Where do u buy easy cast resin stuffs?

  • @natalie21stone Craft stores. If not, then online from the Easy Cast website.

  • hi there im trying to find the Easycast resin to make ayes my self , i did find a site caled etsy.com cus i live in sweden and the material has another name here it seems. But is it on this webbsite i also can fint thos you use and the release agent1000 ?

would be so happy if you culs find a website for me to order the easycast resin/ hardener and releaser menny thanks Nienna87 on Furaffinity

  • @BlackSabertoothTiger The release spray I got from my local plastic store, so I don't think to can order anywhere. As far as Easy Cast goes, just try googling it and see if a home product website comes up.

  • When I bought my 1:1 kit, the hardener was yellow...Even when I cast them, my eyes were tinted yellow. I brought it back to the store and got my money back...But I'm still stuck. I'm guessing it's not supposed to be yellow..

There was also this other kind of resin that you needed to add a hardening catalyst too, but I'm guess that's a different mixing ratio all together?

  • @chibiv THIS kit was clear, both resin and hardener. There's many different kinds of resin mixes and kits out there, all with different ratios and whatnot; like 1:1, 1:2, 1:3, etc. Just look for a kit that you think you could work with and will be easy for you and will cure clear.

  • Eva!

  • I spy with my little eye.... Mr.FISHY FISH!

  • @natalie21stone dick blick works too

  • Assuming I could find those paint palettes with round center wells, could I use those instead and do the full iris/pupil and white part of the eye? Just curious cause I haven't tried it yet and Im still thinking about how I want to go about doing my cosplay.

  • @LiaraChan

I'm just gonna answer this :] no, you cannot see through resin eyes. I mean, usually the backs are painted over, and even if you didn't paint them the vision is highly distorted. You see through the tear ducts of the eyes which is usually made out of a mesh or a really thin fabric :)

  • Cool and thanks; I just made some right now. :3

  • One question, can you see through the resin eyes, and if not, how do you see through a fursuit mask with them in?

Thanks for the tutorial, planning to make a fursuit soon :3
