Cocoon was the two-hour pilot of Hawaii Five-0, well done movie that really set the show off on a great footing. Shot on location, Jack Lord got smart scripts and good guests and always did a snappy promo.

  • @gmt3010 Jack Lord also was a workaholic working dawn til dusk to make the show great. He knew how to act, then put his heart and soul into the show.

  • @gmt3010 Yes, I know what you're talking about. Someone also mentioned this to me that the last few episodes of the new show have so many holes in the plotlines. There are things that go on there which have no explanation whatsoever, and many viewers have noted them, but there are some who still praise this show unconditionally. The shows's producers are padding it, but also leaving some holes unfilled. I can't wait to see Season Three.

  • @sapphiretaurus I have never seen the new one but from what I read of serious film and tv critics, it ain't nothing to toot about! I think that those comments are what is called shill comments. I could be wrong, but the show's producers are padding it. I don't know if I'm explaining myself well but I think you know what I mean.

thanks for watching I am going to upload more I have season 3 of the real one, but youtube watches the copyright and will block if I upload too much.

  • @sapphiretaurus Hi. You're brave. I have not seen one episode of the new. I confess I don't like Scott Caan, not in anything I've seen him in. Another reason is I have seen the original hawaii 5-0 s-1, 3 and soon 5 from the local library. I was a kid when it was on, but watching now, I can see how superb it is. Commercial TV is stale; they need to remake shows, instead of new ones. The fan are probably too young to recall the original. How sad.

  • @gmt3010 I've watched the new show right to the end of the first season, and it was not as good as people made it out to be. The season finale was just a mess. The Five-O unit has been split up, and now they're going to have a whole new subplot to drag out next season. The comments of some of the fans on the IMDb are also a riot. They still think it's the greatest show ever.

  • @gmt3010 yup i dont like the new h50 because u cant replace jack lord

  • @mcgarrettlover105

you know it! he's the real mcgarrett too. always was, is and will be.

    book 'em.... you know!

  • well...mess with steve mcgarrett and u dead!

  • @sapphiretaurus It's a shame the producers of this show didn't put some heart and soul into it. It could have become a great modernized Hawaii Five-0 but you need good actors and smart scripts. It seems like they just wanted to put a show on or either they are really lacking experience in what it takes. There are so many cop shows, you have to be exceptional to compete.
