Blur bassist and cheese-maker Alex James has created a new range of fun cheese that will be stocked in Asda from 22nd August. You can see his other blog entries at http://aislespyblog.asda.com/ As Alex says: "It's cheese ... but not as you may know it!"
@MidnightAndLulu On this occasion I shall heed your words and purchase one of the fallen ones cheeses... Tikka Masala you say... Hmmm, intriguing

@Rantomon I will gracefully forgive you of all of your transgressions and trespasses...this time, Rantomon. Although, a token of good will might show a little more contrition -- like maybe a gift of Alex's cheese (now available at ASDA)? Ooo - the "Tikka Masala" one?
;)

@MidnightAndLulu ...Sigh, the thing about written comments is that often the reader will not get the sarcasm or understand the deliberate ridiculous nature of them (through no fault of their own I must add) as It isn't always easy demonstrate emphasis in these situations. . . In all seriousness however, I am very pleased with my current cheese procurement strategy as It has served me well over the years and in fact it is, If I do say so myself... Pure genius!

@GryffinPhwoar He does always carry the vaguely, sultry air, of someone who just rolled out bed, after having made...cheese. Any future "Giving Cheese Sex Appeal" awards (and you know there will be, at some point in time), go to Alex James. The piping-hot Blur bassist, who marches to the cheesy beat of his own drummer.
On a separate note, I never thought I'd be using the phrase "sex appeal" on an ASDA channel ad. Or watching an ASDA ad and commenting (repeatedly!?) on it. Good job, Mr. James.

@Rantomon But Rantomon, he said it's as affordable as the other stuff -- you know, those blocks of congealed, orange goo, pretending to be cheese. You weren't paying close enough attention...

Alex. You are delicious. I enjoy you every day.
(Blur are my phone wallpaper lol)

@MidnightAndLulu Well I ain't about to buy his cheese, not unless it's two for one anyway... Life is a journey and petrol prices are through the roof!

@Rantomon He's a musician and cheesemaker with impeccable, finely-tuned taste. You must be thinking about that other guy -- the one who survived the 90's.

Very evocative. I can feel the melting sensation, already...
