While I miss the old open, I really like WKYT's makeover. The CBS-esque supers and image promos (like WCCO's) have a clean, professional look. The revised set is stunning. The overall branding does a great job of displaying a modern news product without looking garish or over-the-top.

that was the first day of the launch, it has been changed to one swoosh sound. :-)
