This is so neat!! My Dad passed on to me a "Silver Streak" train set. He got it in 1936 he says when he was six.He is almost 80 now and would love to see it run again. Do you know how I could find a tranformer for it? Thanks!

I'm pretty sure no one builds trains for the trains. They build them just for the little city. Who gives a shit about the train.

I had the really simple set of this engine! I loved the movie by the same name so much....I guess I had to have it. I was a bit let down though, since it didn't look like the engines in the movie. Brings back some memories. THANKS.

what did you use to make your roads

Just spray painted the plywood with flat black and used tiny strips of masking tapes for road lines. I wanted to make it easy.
