The Mercer Service Scholars traveled to Tbilisi, Georgia in August of 2011 in order to conduct service work with the Evangelical Baptist Church of Georgia. The Evangelical Baptist Church of Georgia has many ministries, including a ministry for street children that are begging on the streets of Tbilisi. This digital story seeks not only to capture my (Ashley Price's) experiences with the street children, but to also explain their situation through a historical view and suggest ways in which to help these children who deserve a better future. Part 1 of 2.
