  • "They" is me, not Carvin. My video, not theirs.

  • carvin did copy prs! ARE U SERIOSLY THAT IGNORANT! first, carvin is all about authentic and original shape, secondo: the variation of wood, the craftmaship and the sound is far superior than prs.

  • In short Carvin has delivered the goods as ordered with a Zero Tolerance for less than perfect workmanship and materials. It is apparent that everyone involved in the construction of this instrument has given their all. From the person who sharpens the router bits to the people in shipping. My faith has in American Manufacturing has been renewed by Carvin!

    Sincerely;

    Moe Thomas

  • Carvin started making instruments in 1946, when did PRS start?

  • People who say Carvin copied PRS are idiots. There are only so many ways you can shape a peice of wood (within logic) to make a nice, normal looking guitar. Among single cuts, there aren't that many variations. Among double cuts, there aren't that many variations. Get over it. The Carvin CT6 has a different bottom cut than PRS.

  • Carvin CT.

  • anybody know what the second guitar is?

  • got a Carvin 1975 DC150 and an '08 DC400 ill post vids later.... they fucking kick serious ass

  • yeah and PRS don't make a dc with an ebony board like carvin does carvin is seriously a high quality instrument made here in the usa

  • and still you can custom made your own online and still they are not that expensive.. a stock les paul or a stock PRS are almost twice as much.. love the carvins

  • I have been playing Carvin since 1982. They are very high quality guitars. Most folks who have actually played em agree.PRS is nice for sure, but the Carvin is such a bargain how could not check one out? Well actually that can be pretty difficult cause they are hard to find used, and you have to order one new otherwise.

  • I ordered a PRS for €2,500 then got told there was delay with it being shipped. I went back to the music store and bought a CT6M instead and they said I could trade it in if I preferred the PRS. PRS finally arrived and, despite being €1,000 more, the Carvin feels, sounds and looks better.

    PRS are great, don't get me wrong, but the Carvin for me is a better guitar at less cost.

    I play clean in a funk band and distorted for practising (Satch, Vai etc.) and the Carvin is incredible!
